The Mabel Magalhaes Spring 2014 Campaign Stars Dovile Virsilaite

Right from the get-go, viewers will detect a strong retro influence throughout the Mabel Magalhaes Spring 2014 ad campaign. It was inspired by the art deco style of the 1930s. When taking into account the opulently embroidered dresses, colorful palette and overall vintage quality of the designs, it is not surprising that the mastermind behind the photoshoot decided to go in this direction.

The Mabel Magalhaes Spring 2014 ad campaign was shot by photographer Gustavo Marx. It stars model Dovile Virsilaite. The dark-haired beauty was outfitted by Mariana Sucupira, who displayed the jewel tones and delicate lacework beautifully. Shot against a wooden backdrop, the outfits stand out like a bloom bursting from a concrete floor. The looks were perfected by hair and makeup artist Ronnie Peterson.

The Kenzo 2014 Menswear Preview Displayed a Rug Made of Fruit

Growing up, kids are always told not to play with their food, however, the Kenzo 2014 Menswear range showcased an elaborate carpet made completely out of fruits.

This rug was very large and made out of a variety of different fruits including bananas, apples, lemons, limes and strawberries. Since there was a such a variety, the carpet was colorful and perfectly symmetrical; there was not one fruit out of place. Even though spectators were there to watch a preview of the new Kenzo line, the spectacle of the carpet was too much to pass up, and many participants spent some time staring at the intricate work. This Kenzo 2014 Menswear line showcased that not only are the clothes you are displaying important, but so it the overall theme of the event.
